Benefits of Outsourcing

Why ask an outside company to manage your survey on your behalf? This is a question your organisation will need to weigh up in terms of the cost incurred versus the benefits gained.

Our experience of commissioning surveys suggests there are five main benefits of outsourcing:

  • Time. Its' our job. We've got the time - maybe you haven't? You have one hundred and one things to do and this means you simply don't have the time to effectively manage your survey single-handed.
  • Expertise. However comprehensive your survey/research experience the chances are research is not a large part of your job. It might be useful to involve people like us who do this sort of thing day in, day out.
  • Independence. No matter how hard you try to convince respondents that an internally-conducted survey is confidential, some always struggle to accept this. Click here to see how we address confidentially issues.
  • Benchmarking. The Survey Centre can provide a Benchmarking Service allowing you to compare your results against those of your peers, or your previous survey.
  • Efficient use of Resources. Research companies conduct surveys for a living. They become very efficient at resource management - be it people or technology. What may take you a day to do could be done in the space of an hour given the experience or the approporiate technolgy.
