Focus Groups

Description


Forfars in the south easts leading independent bakery employing over 300 people and with 24 retail outlets spread throughout Sussex.

The task was to establish customer perceptions of the Forfars brand, its staff, its products and its stores.

We chose to use focus groups, allowing us to explore visual concepts and reaction to a range of products. More importantly focus groups allowed us to into much greater depth than any other methodology and this proved to be extremely useful.

The focus group provided the sort of insight that the management team were unable to obtain by talking to customers and staff themselves. The results informed new concepts for brand and store layout across the chain and have been fed into product development programmes and training plans.
