Investors In People (IIP) Surveys
The Survey Centre's Investors in People HealthCheck is an Employee Survey that compares your organisation against the twelve indicators of the National Standard.
The survey explores all the issues covered by Investors in People. It therefore provides you with an assessment of how close you are to achieving the IIP standard. Unlike a traditional IIP assessment, our approach is low cost and hassle-free. It can:
- reach every employee in your organisation (not just a sample)
- assist you in identifying the areas that require attention - prior to a formal review
- be adapted to include additional questions relevant to your organisation
Who would benefit from an Investors in People HealthCheck?
Organisations most likely to benefit from an Investors in People survey include:
- Organisations considering Investors in People as a framework for development but are unsure where to start.
- Organisations approaching an IIP assessment that want a dry run before the assessment to ensure they're still on track. (Failing annual assessment can prove costly, time-consuming and have a negative effect on staff, customers and other stakeholders)
- IIP-recognised organisations wanting to keep on top of their accreditation.
How does an Investors in People Survey work?
Our Investors in People Survey contains forty questions designed to establish how likely it is that your organisation is meeting the requirements of the National Standard. Where possible questionnaires are distributed online. Where this is not possible they are distriibuted as a postal survey. Frequently a mixture of the two are used.
Responses are assimilated into a report that highlights the organisation's strengths and potential shortfalls against the Investors in People Standard. The report can also contain an Action Plan - developed by an experienced, accredited Investors in People Adviser and Assessor. Your organisation can use this to plan its next steps.
